It's finally Friday...

and this is what we have in store for the weekend:

Saturday-
8:00 arrive at baseball field;
9:00 baseball game for the big one;
11:30 t-ball game for the little one;
kids going to the movies with MawMaw and perhaps some Mommy/Daddy time; and if they are up for it, maybe some good ole' Frank & Al's pizza, beer and wine with some dear friends.

Sunday-
sleep in...just a little...please, honey?
10:00 baseball practice;
then off to an afternoon Mets game...
sitting on the berm;
watching a little baseball;
soaking in the sun (hopefully);
watching my little ones play; and
enjoying the company of some more good friends.

Sounds like a good plan...don't you agree?

It's the last weekend of the fair. So far, Jacob has already been to the fair 4 times, the rest of us only 3. It was lots of fun and some good family fun that I think we needed and which included...

wild and "getting older" rides for the pre-teen;
a "Spanish" swing ride that Ellie rode once and wouldn't get on again (I'm still not sure why she thought it was a "Spanish" ride);
a kids bungee jumping experience that Ellie so loved;
a Charlie Daniels Concert;
lots of pigs, steers and more pigs;
Clydesdale horses and Bud the Dalmation;
school exhibits;
many slices of pizza; and
even a fried Oreo or two.

Good times, but I think we are officially faired out.

Happy Weekend, Everyone!
